A Life-long Love for Horses
Morgan is a life-long horse-loving lady with a passion for animal husbandry. She didn't often get to be in the presence of horses in her younger years, soaking up every opportunity with intense enthusiasm. She longed for a horse of her own, even just the opportunity to be with them, caring for them. In 2008 she was introduced to Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited, INC. - a therapeutic riding program for those with special needs, and she has never looked back! Many horsewomen involved with the program have invested countless hours mentoring her and making her the horsewoman she is today. After 33 years of waiting, her dream finally came true when an emaciated, black Appendix Quarter Horse named Brees decided he'd let her catch him. She purchased him for a dollar...in quarters...come on, you know that's funny!
Today, Brees (25) is enjoying a life of semi-retirement as a therapy horse at EEU where he loves his kiddos and excels at his job. Brees was well worth the wait and is truly Morgan's heart horse.

Saddlefit Evaluations
Both static and dynamic saddlefits of horse and rider are evaluated
Full Saddlefit Evaluation
$150
Assesses both static & dynamic fit of the saddle to the horse & rider. If I determine poor fit in static, I will forgo dynamics.
Full Evaluations take about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Horse will be ridden in both directions at all three gaits [fitness, footing, & weather permitting] The horse must work long enough to create a sweat/dust pattern for me to assess the dynamic fit properly.
**$50 non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking
Follow-up/Saddle on Trial Fittings
$50
This service is offered to return clients that have had an evaluation within the last 6 months or have had a recent follow-up and would like to asses another saddle or feel their horse's body has changed enough to warrant a follow-up fit.
**$50 due at time of booking
Travel Fees
$40 Flat Starting Rate
Applies to fittings scheduled outside of Lake and Porter counties in Indiana. Dependent upon location. Please message me to discuss rates.
*Travel fees will be divided among number of participants at each location*

Additional Services
English Saddle Maintenance
Price varies with service
- Billet Replacement: $90 for 2 pairs (ALL billets must be replaced for safety reasons!)
- On-site Flocking adjustments: $50 *added in addition to saddlefitting appt fees*
- Full Flocking Replacement: $250 Done off site - turn around times vary with demand. Initial fit check must be done after 30 hours of ride time (butt in the saddle hours)
*All flocking is done with all natural Jacob's wool imported from England*
PLEASE don't send me saddles covered in dirt, dust, or mold. Additional charges will apply.
Saddle Shopping Assistance
$20/hr
Forms of your horse's tracings (provided to you at the fitting) will be taken to the tack store and used as a guide to select possible saddle options. I will assess the quality & condition of saddles present and guide you through this daunting process. It can take a long time to find the right saddle, but it's worth it! The option for you to trailer your horse to the shop with us is best to do quick static fits in the parking lot.

Sharing saddlefit education to empower equestrians to make better tack choices to prolong the health, comfort, and careers of their equine partners. Demonstrations given to show effects of saddlefit on movement of the horse in real-time and point out subtle indicators of equine discomfort under saddle.

Scoot Boots Fittings
$40
I offer in person fittings only at this time for $40 ($20 will be applied to any boot purchase made through me). Sizing shells will be used to determine the best fit for your horse. A $1/mile travel fee will be applied to fittings outside of Lake & Porter Counties in Indiana. Travel fees will be divided among number of participants at each location.
I will have limited stock available for the time being & will increase with demand. If I don't have your size in stock, I will order it for you.

I want to help you through those moments when you just know something isn't right. Send me pictures of your saddle or your dust/sweat patterns if you're worried. BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9am-6pm.
Based on what I see, I'll let you know if we should book something & give recommendations.
This being said- I have FIRM boundaries about work/life balance and if you don't respect those, I maintain the right to charge for time spent. I will do my best to respond within 48 hours
